Clinical Studies on the 96 Cases of Croup

96 cases of croup were clinically observed for 8 years from 1960 to 1967. The summary of the clinical and labaratory findings are as follows: Analysis of the yearly prevalence revealed 62% of cases in 1967, which seems sufficient to reflect clear epidemic pattern. A preponderance of cases (83 cases, 86%) occurred between December and March. Most frequent month was February (25 cases, 26%)....
Staphylococcal Constrictive Pericarditis in Infancy -A Case Report and Review of Literature

A case of staphylococcal constrictive pericarditis in a 10 month old male infant is reported here with a brief review of literature. To our knowledge, there have been no reported cases of constrictive pericarditis as a sequela of purulent pericarditis in infancy less than 1 year of age. This case recovered by medical treatment only, requiring no pericardiectomy.
